Senior Supply Chain Customer Service Representative
The Senior Supply Chain Customer Service Representative joins a global commodities producer in the mining industry. This dynamic candidate will serve as a critical member of the supply chain team interfacing daily on the phone with large accounts; fielding complaints, receiving input, entering orders, freight rates and processing shipments. The candidate must be a self-starter, hit the ground running, take initiative, be organized and drive with customer service. If you are able to communicate to all levels of organization, have excellent PC/software and verbal skills then consider this your long term career.

Experience in bulk commodities, mining, coal, grain or salt is favorable. Position located in Salt Lake City.

**Essential Functions of Senior Supply Chain Customer Service Representative**

+ Trains sales and customer service representatives

+ Conducts customer surveys

+ Assist Manager in setting department objectives and new policy procedures

+ Leads Total Quality Management Team

+ Serves as lead when Manager is not present

+ Process customer orders, inquires on orders and report on status

+ Make arrangement for shipping and delivery

+ Field complaints and make adjustments due to shortages, damages and transactional errors

+ Maintain customer records with direct order entry system

+ Select appropriate modes of transport of material for customers

+ Visit alongside with Sales team to customer location

+ Investigate and resolve remittance disputes

+ Excellent customer service skills

+ Capacity to speak and interface with customers

+ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

+ Strong-initiative and independent judgment

+ Willingness to work independently while collaborating with a team

+ Proven ability to multi-task

+ High degree of distribution systems and customer knowledge

+ Excellent PC and software skills

**Qualifications of Senior Supply Chain Customer Service Representative**

+ 2 or 4 year degree from an accredited college or university is preferable

+ 5+ years of progressive experience

+ Spanish language proficiency preferred

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

+ Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
